The February issue of Shueisha's Bessatsu Margaret magazine is announcing next Wednesday that a live-action film adaptation of Karuho Shiina's Kimi ni Todoke manga has been green-lit. More details will be provided in future issue of Bessatsu Margaret, although the next issue does include a message from Shiina regarding the news.
Story Plot:The story follows the coming-of-age story of Sawako Kuronuma, a high school girl whose long black hair and pallid skin leads the other kids to call her Sadako (after the ghost character in The Ring horror stories). She eventually changes her life with a little help from the popular boy Kazehaya and her other classmates.
