"If you stand still nothing changes.... but... if you take even a step forward....I have a feeling something will change, and something good will happen!"

Synopsis

Yamato is ready for a fresh start. So when his aunt invites him to stay rent-free in her big-city boarding house in hustling, bustling Tokyo, Yamato jumps at the chance. There’s just one teensy-weensy catch: It’s an all-girl housing complex and spa! Things get even more nerve-racking when Yamato meets his neighbor Suzuka, a beautiful track-and-field star. She’s not just the cutest girl Yamato’s ever met, she’s also the coolest, the smartest, and the most intimidating. Can an ordinary guy like Yamato ever hope to win over a girl like Suzuka?

My Review
Writer tells us a simple story about a guy coming into Tokyo to live , study and of course finding love is added to just because it's an romance story ... Not long the manga starts we are thrown into "Boy Meets girl" event where he notices a beautiful girl and well is captivated by her Yes it just how it goes in such mangas.Simple events from the get go it was not the case i guess because later things get complicated being introduced to other characters cause this simpleness fade into many turns which at times could be annoying but later gets figured out somehow.
Manga goes as far as 100+ chapters which tell it from high school to i guess adulthood ? BUt in many different ways that you can look at it ... it still has only one ending to it, and it is quite well seen from the first chapters of the manga Even if the girl is being persistent the guy is dumb he will try his best to get her which will lead to that one ending which seems most fit but i wonder.
After many events and many rejections it goes into an interesting stage where even parents come in and making heavy decisions are what children need to do getting approved is something they must do i guess hard life is still hard but even before that there were many intriguing moments like cat fights and those feelings that get approved of and those feelings of getting rejected in the end ... They always hurt i guess.
Without talking about life of our characters you can also see a lot of sport going on in manga which actually is pretty good aspect giving this manga more than just romance. In manga we see how each characters Will to do sports change from good to bad and from bad to good trying their best wanting to be better than others and competitions with those rivals that in the end become someone to Look up to as old friends oh i loved this side of the manga.

First Meeting

Our main protagonist comes back to Tokyo after years had passed and on the way to his new home he sees a beautiful girl doing her morning practice which captivates him at first glance but he is yet to know how hard it will be to capture her... but hey it goes always like that we fall in love we try hard some of us give up some of us goes till the end no matter what kind of future awaits.

Persistence

WEll persistence is indeed one of those that are called "love can overcome anything" types without even giving up no matter the situation so it kind of made me cheer for him but also at some point i started to hate him too just because of the route he tried to go Hiding and running from reality those weren't the choices here so writer just tried to spice the manga up as I read mangas from Seo, Kouji most of the time the characters he create in his stories have this strong persistence which seems could win against anything but without that they all have same wavering feelings.

Last Step

Click the image to open in full size.

Being accepted is the hardest thing to do why ? Because you made a mistake that could ruin the ones you love future ... no its not because you could ruin her future its more because there are also people who are expecting quite a lot from that person but still what is shown as mistake in this manga for me is something beautiful and yes i am still yet to experience that And well i guess this as i called "Last Step" Was the MOST intriguing stage of the manga ... being scared of the future , having courage , loving , moving forward and accepting something while knowing that you sacrifice everything that others gave you... Here feelings start to overflow.

Art [8/10]
Seo, Kouji Art is quite nice all of the characters are drawn nicely whole atmosphere and every background felt right even in other of his works it is good Captivated me from first pages and let me go at the last of them.

Overall [8/10]

We started out with boy meets girl and went on a roller-coaster ... meeting new friends , choosing things to do in life , pursuing romance and meeting dramatic events just to end it where it should end perfect? not really Good? Yes indeed it was delivered and i got the message Romance was overflowing drama made me tremble nothing more nothing less. My sincere thoughts ? The mange was written quite well it wasn't dragged on to long events were untangled one after another making place for more and without leaving regrets i guess ? As far as Manga can go it showed enough book is a book and what is written can't be re-written because there will always be only one 1st story. So giving this manga 8 was quite good i guess because for me there were some things here and there missing but it may be that i am just to picky.

“Shall I take you away, to the place where dreams come true” An quote that tells almost everything about this manga or anime or light novel its all connected to that one dream world where your every wish comes true!

I myself have gathered every single of my thoughts about these series from manga , light novel and anime so here it is:

If we are talking about reality and love that is meant to be the writer of this manga told us an story that makes us literally cry With tears of joy or tears of sadness Adding events one after another he created world of Pain and Never ending happiness. With endings of two kind we see dream world in which characters yet to exist meet each other one after another we are introduced to many Characters ... That guy who is called best friend those few girls that are madly in love but only one sided , that girl who is lonely and doesn't know much about life AND that one girl who is the only one to capture his heart...

Covered by many many many funny moments it makes us think where this manga , anime or light novel should be going but hey unexpected events are something that makes us more interested in the story. What else did the writer is that he made an time story from somewhere in high school going all the way up to adulthood and showing us at times some mysteries like an girl showing up out of nowhere playing pranks on her or helping her out with her mission is all apart of the series...

Story wise its very nicely build and very nicely ended without leaving regrets making us cry and making us smile at time i even thought it would end really sadly but then i to was caught off guard it ended in such an way that i would never expected.

Okazaki Tomoya

Our protagonist quite a delinquent? Not really just an really lazy human being with an huge head on his shoulders to back him up ... and also the one in this story who gets pulled all around by the hands of life pure heart person who can't leave anyone in a pinch maybe that is why hes so attractive ? oh what am i saying hes just another protagonist made to be the best. Or atleast is what i thought.

First Step

Well followed by many events it got to the point where its time to step up the game its quite an thing to do not even knowing what lies ahead since your life is not so good and all you can give is Love but still it was only the beginning or Happiness covered in sadness

Different Worlds

Manga shows different worlds in which you can find same characters living just that one is the Real World and other is that Dream world blank and without anyone around but two. Dream world adds that one of a kind feeling to it making you wonder what does this mean? Why did they add this kind of world to an love story ? just more questions pop in your head.

Overall

The manga is beautiful the light novel is dramatic and the anime is funny and without any regrets i never once have seen such an dramatic and romance balanced anime which is covered by many comedic events and well i am yet to find anything that would make me cry as much as this one did.

Moe Kare!! Review

Type: Manga
Volumes: 7
Chapters: 35
Status: Finished
Published: Jul 2005 to Sep 2006
Genres: Comedy, Romance
Authors: Ikeyamada, Go (Story & Art)
Serialization: Shoujo Comic

"And One day for sure it will turn into Eternal Love" ~ Best way to describe this manga. Simple words telling you an story of love that had to be and love that always will be.

As it is an shoujo manga it is quite hard to write and decent review because of how shoujo plot goes ... Yes i do agree its always the same but lets look at this manga now and no other but only Moe Kare!! Our writer Ikeyamada, Go tells us an story about an 15 years old girl Wakamiya, Hikaru who lives in her own little world dreaming of finding her prince Yep yep that kind of prince who would save her in a pinch any time anywhere.
Writer takes us on an tour trough many different roads ... Of falling in love for the first time , Finding out what true love is , rejecting love and finding that someone special teaching us about biter sweet first love and how unforgettably it can be ... even when you fall in love again you will still remember those first doki doki in your heart.
With numerous events 3 people feelings meet together and escalate into dramatic events which lead to an ending that is most fit.

As it is very easy to see what kind of ending such mangas meet its easy to read because there are not much escalation just going from romance to dramatic events back to romance with a lil bit of comedy added here and there... I guess that is why shoujo manga is soo easy to read ^^

Looking at other side of this manga it doesn't have too many chapters just that enough mount to tell this little story I would call it the good point because if it can be told in 30+ chapters than it won't get booring of waiting for what to happen.

Just a Little Pointer ... which i thought of when i first read this manga: Never look too far because you would be surprised who you can find just right beside you.

First Love, First Meeting

Click the image to open in full size.

Our heroine Wakamiya, Hikaru was in kind of a pinch one day if i may say while suddenly one of the princes show up and save her and leaving with bad first impression while getting nick named "Perverted Prince" Next day out heroine meets that same guy ... But hey he act differently ? he doesn't remember a thing ? And why is his eyes different colour? Thus our writer begins the Boy Meets girl scene ... the most obvious shoujo scene to exist.
Its practically how our heroine starts her first love out.

Being Rejected

Click the image to open in full size.

After meeting her prince she found her love and it seemed so sweet ... to sweet so writer had to make it bitter and thus started dramatic events there were few guys one truly deeply in love with her and even being rejected all the time he was strong and well love can't lose right? So as it is said best medicine to heal an wound is the thing that caused the wound.

Getting accepted, Finding Eternal Love

Click the image to open in full size.

After numerous times of being rejected one of our protagonists gets accepted finally "Are you sure? I won't ever let you go again..." This is the sweetest event in whole manga that made my own heart go Doki Doki but what made me smile was heroines face that smile of finding true love and understanding that that "Prince" doesn't need to be perfect and that he was always by her side...

Overall

Rating [8/10]

Gave that kind of rating on MAL just because its a bit older manga and there are better ones still it is my thoughts and my rating for the manga it doesn't really need to be accepted by everyone.

Writer told as an story of 15 year old girl falling in love for the first time ... Covered with sweetness and mixed with sour tears He took an simple high school themed romance which escalated to drama and went down to romance that is why i call such mangas Escalator type.

Art Rating: [5/10]

Is a bit older so its fair score ... i still like that older manga feel and how the characters are drawn because of some comedy parts those faces are drawn nicely.

Kodansha's Dessert magazine is announcing a pair of anime adaptations in the July issue, both shoujo romance series. The first one is Hazuki Kanae's "Sukitte Ii na yo". (Say "I love you."), which follows Tachibana Mei, a girl who's gone 16 years without making friends or having a boyfriend. Things start to change when she accidentally injures a popular boy named Kurosawa Yamato, who takes a liking to her, thus kicking off a one-sided relationship.

The second anime announcement is for Robiko's "Tonari no Kaibutsukun" (The Monster Seated Next to You). This series centers on Mizutani Shizuku, a girl who only cares about her own grades. When she accidentally delivers lesson notes to Yoshida Haru—a boy who is repeatedly absent from class—he becomes convinced that they're friends.
