Plot Summary: Ippo, a timid highschooler, is one day saved from being beaten up by Takamura, a boxer. Enthralled by Takamura's skills Ippo begins to learn boxing, soon finding love for the sport and a drive to challenge the boxing world.

Personal opnion: I never thought in my life I would enjoy a boxing anime to this extent. It has an amazing story with hilarious characters, each with their own indepth story and background. The fights are not just some freeze-frame pokemon action fighting scenes, they invovle lush movements in the art work. For any fan of action animes I suggest you take this for a spin.

Hajime no Ippo: New Challenger

Plot Summary: Ippo Makunouchi continues his boxing career and his goal on knowing the meaning of being strong, and the desire on fighting his idol Ichiro Miyata once again. Along him are pro boxers Takamura, Aoki and Kimura that each one of them aspire to their own dreams.

Personal opnion: This anime did meet up to the expectations of its predecessor 100%. Putting the focus on one of the show favorites Takamura it gives you a taste of the heavy weight boxing devision. It may have been sorter then the previous series but it did give viewers the same great experince.

Hajime no Ippo: Season 3
